CYBERGEOPOLITICS

Europe, the Presidency of the Council of EU released its revised text of the proposed Regulation concerning the Respect for Private Life and the Protection of Personal Data in Electronic Communications and Repealing Directive 2002/58/EC. -The European Parliament’s Committee on Legal Affairs issued its Draft Opinion for the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy.

UK, Privacy Campaigners have taken ICO to court over the regulator’s failure to stop unlawful practices by the Digital Advertising Technology industry. – The Information Commissioner’s Office published guidance on criminal offence data
